E@I is a non-governmental and non-political organization that is behind the website www.lernu.net.

As a member of E@I, you have no obligations and information about you will in no way be misused or made publicly available. To put it simply, when you register at lernu! you will automatically be counted as a member of the organization that is behind lernu! - namely E@I - for administrative reasons. (This helps E@I greatly when calculating the size of its membership, and in this way also gives E@I more opportunities to receive funding to improve lernu! and create new projects.)

General information about E@I: E@I was born in 1999 as an international workgroup to deal with mainly internet-related projects. Little by little, it grew and stabilized, and in 2005 it gained legal standing as an international non-governmental and non-political organization.

Main goals of E@I:

• To inspire intercultural learning and international teamwork and communication.
• To support learning and use of internet techniques and languages.
