How do I begin?

People learn in different ways, so we offer our users many courses to help them learn the language. We recommend that you try them all! If you don't like a course, you don't have to do the whole thing; you can switch to another one. Here are our most popular courses for beginners in Esperanto: montrilo Zam

The course Mi estas komencanto consists of short dialogues that you can use to learn phrases useful for your first contacts with Esperanto speakers.

To learn the grammar in more detail and to learn many words, meet Ana Pana, a young girl from New York. In this course, you can practice reading, listening, and writing, with the help of a language tutor. Your language tutor is a live person who will be able to answer your questions.

Become acquainted with the most common grammar topics and words in Esperanto in the course Zagreba metodo.

The most important document about the Esperanto language is the Fundamento de Esperanto. In the course Pri la Fundamento you will find explanations about why the Fundamento is necessary, a summary of basic grammar in 16 rules, several exercises, and a dictionary with translations in five languages.
